Team India will be in action on June 2023 when they will take on Australia in the World Test Championship final in England. However, Indian cricket dealt a massive blow as a sting video over the former chief selector, Chetan Sharma went viral by a private news channel. That video left all fans shocked as he made some outrageous revelations about Indian players and the whole cricketing system.

As a result, he resigned from the Indian Cricket Board. Now, on 18 May 2023, Chetan Sharma shared a tweet that went viral and fans shared their views on social media. He wrote: “Life has been very tough so far. No hope from your near & dear. Hope Mata Rani bless me.....” It seemed that the former chief selector is having a tough time since that incident.

Speaking about some huge revelations, Chetan Sharma was seen saying: “Players come to my home to talk about their future. Hardik Pandya was sleeping on my sofa that day and talking to me. Hardik Pandya is the future of India. He's the most humble cricketer. He came to my house recently."

About the controversy over removing Virat Kohli as Team India skipper, he said: “The truth is that that he (Ganguly) did tell him. 8-9 people were there, and Ganguly told him (not to give up captaincy). Virat was lying, but no one knows why... and that is his personal matter, but it became a huge controversy. It became a Board versus player clash.”   

“There are no rifts between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, they support each other. Both are like Amitabh and Dharmendra. Rohit Sharma was the one who supported Virat Kohli the most when he was going through a rough patch,” he further added. Such statements left all fans shell-shocked and the whole system of Indian cricket came under the scanner.
