Apart from the action of cricket, both the English cricket team and the Pakistan cricket Board has caught eyeballs for another reason. In a surprising decision, the England and Wales Cricket Board has decided to send a personal chef with the team after showing concern about the catering services provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board during the seven-match T20I series back in September.

“The England cricket board has decided to rope in a team chef for the tour to Pakistan as when the English team toured Pakistan earlier this year for a seven-game T20I series, several players fell ill and complained of stomachache,” states a report from the Telegraph.

“By turning down the hospitality of local hotels and cricket grounds, the decision could risk offending hosts in a country England went 17 years without visiting,” the report adds later.

Following this announcement, some of the cricket fans didn’t take much time in trolling the Pakistan Cricket Board for their hospitality to the visitors. They took to Twitter for taking a dig at the management and preparations of PCB. The fans also recalled the statement of the PCB chairman when he went on to compare the Pakistan Super League (PSL) with the Indian T20 League.

“If they take the PSL to auction model instead of the draft model, they’ll be able to increase the purse for all teams and then,” said Ramiz Raja in his statement.

Here’s how fans reacted to the news of the England cricket Board sending a personal chef with their team:

Speaking about the Test series between England and Babar Azam’s Pakistan, both teams will lock horns in the first match of the series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Following this, Multan and Karachi will host the remaining two Tests on the 9th and 17th of December respectively.
