Jofra Archer is currently gearing up for the Indian T20 League 2023 for the Mumbai franchise. After missing the 2021 and 2022 editions, he will be finally in action this season for this season. However, he previously played for the Rajasthan franchise. The Mumbai franchise had already dealt a major blow as Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson will not be available due to injuries.

So, fans were not happy as they will not see the pair of Bumrah and Archer in action once again this year. Now, an image has gone viral where Jofra Archer was seen smacking big sixes in an intense net session ahead of the tournament. Fans went crazy and shared their views on the social media platform.

Jofra Archer last played in the Indian T20 League in 2020 for the Rajasthan franchise
As of now, Archer has played 35 matches in the tournament, and in those matches, he grabbed 46 wickets. In the 2020 edition, he took 20 wickets in 14 matches. After that, due to injury, he missed the 2021 edition. In the 2022 mega auction, Mumbai bought Jofra Archer for INR 8 Crores. But, he missed the entire season due to injury. Mumbai will open their campaign on 2 April against Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy stadium.
Regarding Archer’s inclusion in the team, head coach, Mark Boucher said: “Jofra has come off a major injury and he's been playing a lot of cricket of late which is good. He's in a good space at the moment, he's really ready to get out there and perform. Hopefully, he can kickstart the Indian T20 League with a bang." While speaking to the reporters, Rohit Sharma said: "We've got a couple of guys who can do that job for us which Bumrah used to do. We'll keep an eye on that and hopefully whatever space Bumrah was in, the other guys can come in and do the job for us"
