In the recent ODI global event in New Zealand, Sciver played an unbeaten knock of 148 off 121 balls in the losing cause against eventual champions Australia.

Sciver had announced her engagement to Brunt in October 2019. The couple was supposed to marry in September 2020 but the Covid-19 pandemic forced them to delay their wedding.

For the unversed, Sciver and Brunt are the third pair in International women’s cricket to get married after South Africa’s Dane van Niekerk–Marizanne Kapp and New Zealand’s Lea Tahuhu–Amy Satterthwaite.

In their illustrious careers, Sciver has played 89 ODIs, scoring 2711 runs at an average of 41.7. Besides, she has also appeared in 91 T20 internationals, amassing 1720 runs at 24.9. On the other hand, Brunt has played 140 ODIs, picking 167 wickets at an average of 24.3. Besides, in 96 T20 internationals, she has picked 98 wickets at 19.3.
