The first ODI of the three-match series will be played on 22nd July 2022 at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad, scheduled to start at 7:00 PM. The second ODI will be played on 24th July while the third ODI will be played on 27th July. The venues for all the three matches will be the same and the starting time will also remain the same.

The Indian Cricket Board has rested many senior players for the series which means it will be a perfect opportunity for the young guns to fire and make statements with their performances. Players like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Deepak Hooda, Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh will be raring to go in the series.

The West Indies will look to make amends for their horror show against Bangladesh and put up a strong performance to challenge the Men in Blue in the series. They will be led by Nicholas Pooran, who will require good support from his senior players like Jason Holder, Shai Hope, and Rovman Powell.

Pitch Details

The pitch at the Queen’s Park Oval keeps an equal balance between bat and ball. The surface can become unpredictable at times as it keeps both the spinners and seamers interested. If the team gets off to a flier, the batters can counter-attack the spinners and make them ineffective.
