Ravindra Jadeja, who had been out of action due to an injury sustained during the Asia Cup 2022, made a strong comeback in the domestic cricket scene with a brilliant performance for Saurashtra in the Ranji match against Tamil Nadu.

In the first innings, he took 1 wicket, but in the second innings, he came out with all guns blazing, taking 7 wickets in just 17.1 overs, giving away only 53 runs. His performance helped Saurashtra to bowl out Tamil Nadu for 133, setting up a target of just 262 for Saurashtra to win.

Batting first, Tamil Nadu made 324, and in the first innings of the Test match, Saurashtra made 192. After Tamil Nadu's second innings total of 133, Saurashtra began their second innings with a target of 262 runs, and they are currently playing at 4/1.

Jadeja took to Twitter to announce the match ball and his impressive performance to his fans with a Tweet captioned, "First cherry of the season."

Former India pacer Munaf Patel also commented on Jadeja's latest post saying, "Looking forward to see you in Indian jersey jaddu."

Jadeja's performance was vital in the match and it was great to see him back to his best after being out of action for a while. His 7 wickets in the second innings helped Saurashtra to put pressure on Tamil Nadu and set up a winnable target for Saurashtra.
