Star Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has tied the knot with former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha in a function attended by renowned Pakistan cricketers on Friday, the 3^rd of February. The duo got engaged last year at a closed family function.

The wedding ceremony was attended by Pakistan skipper Babar Azam alongside other renowned cricketers including the likes of Shadab Khan, former skipper, and veteran wicketkeeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Talking about cricket, Shaheen is out of action from international cricket for the last couple of months since the 20-20 World Cup 2022 final against England. He sustained an injury in his knee during the summit clash against the three lions due to which he was rushed outside the field during the match.

Apart from that, Shaheen produced some brilliant performances in the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup with an amazing four-wicket haul against Bangladesh in the super-12 match. Shaheen claimed four wickets by conceding only 22 runs to restrict Pakistan before a total of 150 runs.

Apart from that, the 22-year-old has stunned everyone in his short international career of three years owing to his brilliant bowling excellence. The Khyber-based lad has scalped 219 international wickets in 104 appearances across all the formats.
