  1. Tilak Varma

Mumbai acquired the services of a young 19-year-old Tilak Varma at the Mega Auction for INR 1.7 crore. He was included in the playing XI right from the first game itself and the young Indian cricketer didn’t disappoint anyone. He has been one of the bright spots for Mumbai this season.

Despite the top-order failure, Varma consistently took the team to competitive scores by playing valuable knocks in the middle-order. In the last game, Mumbai were in deep trouble at 33 for 4 in pursuit of a 98-run target. However, Verma, once again, came to the team’s rescue and played right till the end. His unbeaten 34 off 32 helped the team win the game.
