Here is how fans have slammed the Bangalore franchise for such high-priced tickets for the games in Chinnaswamy stadium

The new edition of the Indian T20 League is going to kick off on 31 March 2023. Bangalore franchise will look to end their trophy-winning draught this time around. In the last edition, Bangalore lost against the Rajasthan franchise in the play-off. Still, it was a good season for them under the captaincy of their new skipper, Faf du Plessis.

So, fans are hoping to see their team in action again in the tournament. Meanwhile, the tournament will be back to its original Home and away format, after a gap of four years. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the previous three seasons were held at neutral venues. So, Bangalore fans will look to see star players like Virat Kohli in action in Chinnaswamy Stadium. 

Bangalore have played three finals so far in the history of the Indian T20 League    

On 15 March 2023, fans got to know that all tickets were added to the official website of the Bangalore franchise for all the home games in Chinnaswamy stadium. But, fans went crazy after seeing the prices of tickets. The lowest ticket price is INR 2310 while the highest one is INR 42350.

Bangalore’s first home game is on 2 April 2023 against Chennai. While, their last home game will be against the defending champions, Gujarat on 21 May 2023. However, on 15 March, Virat Kohli gave a pep talk to the women’s team of the franchise as they lost the first five games of the ongoing Women’s T20 League. There, he opened up on quitting Bangalore's captaincy in 2021.

The former Bangalore skipper said: "The time when my captaincy tenure was coming to an end here, I was left with no belief, to be very honest. I was gone, the tank was absolutely empty. But that was my own perspective, that was me just an individual saying that I have seen so much of this, I can't just manage it, handle it anymore."
