While the likes of Cameron Green, Ben Stokes, Sam Curran and others are expected to bag the highest bid, there are a few players who have their base price at 2 crore and fans opined that they were not worthy of the same.

As things stand, let us take a look at players with 2 crore INR base price who might go unsold:

Known for his pace and aggression, Nathan Coulter-Nile played for the Rajasthan franchise in the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League. However, the pacer did pick up an injury that kept him in and out of the league.

Although he could fetch wickets in crunch situations, his vulnerability to injuries could make him go unsold in the auction. One has to agree that teams are looking for allrounders and Coulter-Nile might have already played his last Indian T20 League game.

2) Tymal Mills

Tymal Mills was an integral part of the Mumbai franchise in the Indian T20 League 2022 and it remains to be seen if he could get a contract in the upcoming edition. The England player had a sepulchral outing last year and the chances of him getting a bid is highly unlikely.

If at all Mills gets a bid this year, it remains to be seen if he could get more than 5 games, given that the player has not been impactful in the league. As things stand, Mills might go unsold in the mini-auction and it might be a wait for the player until he makes a comeback.

3) Jamie Overton

Jamie Overton, the star player from England, has never played in the prestigious league so far and it remains to be seen if the cricketer could get a bid to his name, given that the competition is too high with the likes of Ben Stokes, Cameron Green and Sam Curran.

Overton’s record in the T20 domestics has not been impressive so far and given that they are very less slots to fill for the franchises and with INR 2 crore as the base price, it is highly likely that the player might go unsold.

4) Angelo Mathews

Angelo Mathews, the cricketer from Sri Lanka, has been out of the radar and in the shortest format of the game, in specific. As things stand, Mathews has reportedly put himself under the INR 2 crore base price, which fans opine was a bit too high for him.

Further, Mathews has not been an active part of the league of late and with teams banking on the English allrounder Sam Curran, it remains to be seen if the Sri Lankan cricketer could find a bid for himself in the mini-auction.

5) Chris Jordan

Chris Jordan played for the Chennai franchise in the Indian T20 League 2022 edition and had a dismal outing with the team. To add more, Jordan looked completely out of form and eventually conceded too many runs in the death.

The Chennai franchise released him ahead of the mini-auction and as things stand, Jordan has reportedly put him under INR 2 crore base price. With the base price being too high, Jordan might go unsold in the upcoming mini-auction.
